This lamp resembles the wash-house on a rooftop close to my house in Rome. When you walk down the street at sunset you look up and there's the window of this very rough brick construction that pops up on the top of an old building enlightened from the inside by a very warm light. Somehow it looks like sunset itself. It brings the feeling of spring in Rome. It makes me feel good.
