Ego

Ego is a writing desk. I designed it for Rota-Lab but I can say I made it for myself since I draw a lot and I often feel that an intimate space lets me concentrate better.

Designing this little desk I was inspired by the aesthetics of 50's furniture mixed with the practicality of old school furniture. It has two drawers: one fits a 15" laptop and the other has space for A4 sheets of paper and four slots for pens or pencils. Just the essentials to have a dedicated space for what I need while working, wether it 's drawing or using my computer. Simplicity and elegance, beauty and function are Ego's points of strength. 

As many of the pieces of furniture I build, I used wood leftovers.
